Easter Top TextEaster is one of our favourite times of the year in church. Gather with us at one of services this coming Easter Weekend as we celebrate Jesus or bring your family along to one of our community events!

On Good Friday April 19th we will gather for 4 services across both campuses:

  • 830am & 10am @ Mullaloo Campus
  • 9am & 1045am @ Merriwa Campus

Join us for two very special Good Friday Services running at both locations. We will gather and share communion together, worship, and remember what Jesus did on the cross for us.

On Easter Sunday April 21st we will gather for 5 services across both campuses:

  • 830am & 10am @ Mullaloo Campus 
  • 9am & 1045am @ Merriwa Campus

These services will be full of music, fun & a great Easter message. Each service will go for around 1 hour.

Back again this year, we will have a 6am Dawn Service @ Merriwa Campus. This will be a very special acoustic service! Join with us as we celebrate our Risen King as sun rises on Easter Sunday!

Easter Festival @ Both Locations

After every service on Easter Sunday, the Easter festival will be a great time to enjoy the long weekend together. There will be a huge easter egg hunt, inflatables for the kids, Live Music with food vendors at Mullaloo & 115 Collective cafe open at Merriwa.

This year, as at Easter we will have ‘Stations of the Cross’, a time to reflect upon Jesus. As part of this we are looking for anyone at True North for art submissions that tell the story of the cross!

We know there a lots and lots of you out there with creative talents, so different submissions can be photography, drawing, paint, sculptures

The Stations you can create art for include:

  1. Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane;
  2. Jesus is betrayed by Judas and arrested;
  3. Jesus is condemned by the Sanhedrin;
  4. Jesus is denied by Peter;
  5. Jesus is judged by Pilate;
  6. Jesus is scourged and crowned with thorns;
  7. Jesus takes up his cross;
  8. Jesus is helped by Simon of Cyrene to carry his cross;
  9. Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem;
  10. Jesus is crucified;
  11. Jesus promises his kingdom to the repentant thief;
  12. Jesus entrusts Mary and John to each other;
  13. Jesus dies on the cross; and
  14. Jesus is laid in the tomb.

Submissions must be in no later than April 1 2019
